Krzysiek Jędrzejczyk na Placu Massena

I’m Chris. I live on the French Riviera and for several years I’ve been shaping my work to show this place to people the way I see it myself.

Who I am

Hello, my name is Chris (Krzysiek – kshy-shek). I moved to the south of France for better weather, amazing environment and a slower pace of life. I stayed because I found a rhythm that suits me. Places, views, and people who don’t rush anywhere.

I started out differently. For years, I ran Stylówa.PRO, a shop selling cycling clothes that most people still associate me with. It was a good time, full of energy, but after the first lockdown the industry shifted in a direction that no longer suited me. It wore me down, and a major change became necessary. Two years later, I found myself here, between the sea and the Maritime Alps.

Today I live a simple life: I ride, walk, observe, and tell stories. I guide people who want to experience the French Riviera up close, not just pass through it.

Why Nice

Nice gives me what I was missing in Poland. Over three hundred sunny days a year. Mountains you can hike or ride into. The sea that looks different every single day. Narrow streets where locals walk their dogs and notice details others passed by yesterday without seeing.

This region has a lightness to it. Within half an hour, you can be in a place that feels like a completely different world. That contrast matters to me. It’s what makes every trip feel unique, even when you return to the same place.

How I work with guests

The trips I lead are not pre-written scripts. Every day is built from scratch. I talk with guests, understand their needs, pace, and what genuinely interests them. Some want the highlights. Others prefer quiet back roads and places with no signs or information boards.

I work with small groups or private guests. Trips are done either by car (licensed VTC driver) or by bike. The style is calm. No rushing. We stop for coffee, lunch, or simply to breathe. We go where it feels right, and we skip what doesn’t add anything beyond noise.

More details about routes can be found here: Guided tours.

The bike stays with me

Cycling is no longer my daily job, but it remains an important part of my life. I still ride regularly, know the local climbs and viewpoints, and I’m happy to show the region from the saddle if someone wants that perspective.

This is not the main focus of Let’s Go NICE, but it’s still part of my world. For those interested, cycling-related content lives here : lazurower.com.

Car, terrain, comfort

I drive a licensed VTC vehicle. It’s a comfortable car with space, air conditioning, and a trunk large enough for everything we need. The goal is for guests to feel safe and relaxed. The pace is adjusted to the place and the day. No pressure, no hurry.

Discovering places at your own speed

Walking trips are a key part of what I do. The real experience often starts once we leave the car. That’s when you notice scents, stone textures, light, and colors that don’t register through a windshield.

It’s a slower rhythm. A few steps away from the main road and everything becomes clearer. I value these moments. Guests do too. These are the memories that stay the longest.

Where you can find me

I share daily life from the French Riviera across several platforms — some travel, some everyday moments, some behind the scenes of guiding work.

This is where it all started. The bike was the first excuse to explore the Riviera — roads, climbs, and views. Today it’s a personal project, still very much mine.
